Sand Lake Salisbury Park Museum – Historical Society

Our building was originally a church and later served as village office and public library. In 1977 the village made plans for a new municipal building on the property. The Chamber of Commerce moved the building across the street into the park where a group of ladies from the village collected many historical items and started the museum. In 1969 “The Sand Lake Story” was released in book form celebrating our 100th anniversary. The museum strives to preserve and share the history of the Sand Lake area.
Museum is open the 4th Tuesday of every month from noon to 7 pm or by appointment.
