Lyons-Muir Historical Museum

The Lyons-Muir Historical Museum is located in a historic store front that was once the home of the Lyons Herald, a weekly newspaper serving the City of Lyons. Open since 1987, the Museum has exhibits depicting the history of the Lyons-Muir area. Come and see our 19th Century general store.
The purpose of the Lyons-Muir Historical Society and Museum is to preserve the local history as well as historical landmarks and buildings in the Lyons-Muir Michigan areas, establish local genealogical research, inform residents of the local history, and retain as much of the past as possible for the future.
